Deep iFunny's only hope
So SWAbooru or swaggerswithattitude.com has been out for almost four months and the site has been slowly gaining traction. It now has a small but loyal userbase of around 10 regulars and 111 registered accounts, along with over 1,200 posts. While this isn’t bad, it has yet to pass the amount of posts of the fallen /swa/ (1578) and not even close to the replacement for iFunny that I want & need it to be.
SWAbooru is not just meant to be a glorified group chat and is meant to be something much bigger. It is menat to be the platform for anti-fandumbs to speak their voice & be heard. It is meant to be the renaissance of dank 2010s era memes along with flash and shitposting. This can be reached within a year, and I have laid out a blueprint for this titled operation Lee, split across the article
I don’t think I have to explain the decline of iFunny. If you’ve been using the app since before 2023 then you already know but there are other complaint essays by Element Freak, two by iStoic, a bit in Layne's retrospective and a bit in Polk's article. Every Deep iFunnier is hopeless and depressed about the app and many have betrayed their ambitions and values over the site’s decline. The main perpetrators were the removal of comic maker in late 2020, the automod shadowbanning a bunch of random words in april 2022 and the ban waves of july 2024. These caused countless of lovable and iconic users to leave out of frustration with no new users to replace them, causing the community to feel worse, causing even more people to leave. There is no in-app solution, as the app is unusable and gay as Hell. But what isn’t known is that there is an out-app solution. And that solution is SWAbooru. Some of you have known this has been my idea for over a year, since before the banocaust even. Another thing to know is that I’m literally hecking count dooku, who is acted by Christopher Lee, further adding to the “Lee” part of this plan.
However, not everyone is currently on board with this plan, and each step must be explained, which I shall do right now.
STEP ONE - CREATION OF SWABOORU (COMPLETE)
The first thing has been done is making a website that we can control. Now many are opposed to the idea of an indepentent community as many have tried and failed. But this is our only option. You have to be completely mental or an opp if you think FunCorp is going to improve iFunny let alone bring back all of the old features without a shitty paywall. And there’s a chance each one could’ve worked had the cards been played better, if they were intended on being a long-term solution

r/Bruhfunny - successful, posts had over 5k updoots, redditors were trolled, got me to use iFunny, only failed because the jannies (((SHUT IT DOWN)))

c/Bruhfunny - people didn’t want to use a buggier reddit bootleg and the r/TheDonald people realized we were chuds & couldn’t be baited anymore
Memeburger.st - shut down after a month for some reason
/swa/ - was meant to be the semi-official SWAbooru forum, people simply weren’t interested & then 9a0c locked it
xFunny - semi successful, but xitter fucking sucks
There are a few others, but I have forgotten them. But now it is more important than ever that a new iFunny is made. Back in the Shoopy era, you could still say “Nigger” and people were still joining, but not anymore. It is time SWAbooru steps in and LIBERATES everyone from that indian bitcoin mining app.
I also chose a Booru because a website is much easier to make than an app. You don’t have to get Apple jannies to approve it, any device with internet can access it, it’s easier to program and more versatile.
I also decided to make a booru as it is the most compatible type of website, the main thing posted on boorus is images which is just like ifunny and also gives a template that saved the chef some time coding. Although I do regret using DanBooru’s source code instead of Shimmie or Philomena as according to
it is hard to use (I chose it because it resembled iFunny the most at the time).STEP TWO - THE GREAT MIGRATION (IN PROGRESS)
The next part is actually getting iFunniers to actually join the app. This is easier said than done as the failures of the other splinters has put a bad tastes in everyone’s mouth, but you people must be convinced!
First of all, as the pic says, iFunny doesn’t have to be abandoned, in fact I somewhat need iFunny to be relevant for hopes of some sort of reconquista and as an easy way of exposure. But that is in the future, and you must know there is no hope for iFunny as the main hub for shitposting. The automod, lack of studio & other elements have solidified this. And you’re a gay poopyhead if you think we can just go to a more mainstream platform, all of which are inferior to golden age iFunny. I don’t feel like explaining it, but you can just kind of figure it out by using any mainstream app. And if you’re reading this and use iFunny, there’s a 100% chance you still give enough of a shit about that app’s culture to stay after all these years instead of leaving for a more entertaining place like Instagram.
You should also understand how kek this serves as an archive for virtually every iFunny meme. The tags are actually enforced and heavily detailed, which alongside the “artist” and “pool” features make it very easy to search for any specific post uploaded on there. There is no automod either, so you won’t risk each post being taken down.
Also there will be fellow deep iFunniers jannying the site, so no retarded nigger feature brony furries coaling up the ‘llective. But that will be explained later.

FACT: This is false. While the User list does show an IP for admins, they are all encrypted by cloudflare and not actual user IPs. 80% of them start with “172” which does not sound accurate. This can also be proven by the fact that the sites lists an IP for my account that's completely different from my actual one and is far away from my IP.

STEP THREE - MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS (IN PROGRESS)
Here are all the planned features, from a wiki page:
Profile Pictures - Eventually custom PFPs will be added instead of the 8 default ones
Custom Emojis - More will be added, particularly rage comics.
Wiki - A full mediawiki site, not the shitty wiki installed now. As soon as I get a job, this will be created by yours truly. It will be very similar to the Sharty wiki as the place to record all iFunny and SWAbooru lore, with tons of fun commentary and templates.
Watermark - A thin strip advertising the site will be added below every new post. I have thought of a few designs but don’t feel like displaying them rn.Caption studio - Used to caption all file types. There will be two options; a top caption based on the old gif captions including embedding the site icon in the corner & a bottom caption based on the old image captions. The stupid bug where the lowercase "j" looks like a lowercase "i" will be fixed
Comic Maker - The holy grail of upcoming features, the comoc maker will be an expanded version of the OG one. Extra faces will be added such as soyjaks and dolans. Limits like PNGs not working & limited resizing will be removed.
Impact meme maker - The last pillar of iFunny studio. Self explanatory, though there will be a research team to fetch the old meme pics as well as new ones
Other meme studio options - Demotivational maker, SmartphOWNED maker, JS paint, etc.Font hacks - >greentexts, <orangetexts, ==BIG OL RED TEXT== and other such things.
Image embedding - Embed posts by doing [thumb]69[/thumb] like on soybooru. The forums may also have the ability to upload images so stuff like raids doesn't clog the 'log with random shit
Flash - SWFs can be posted on the 'llective through ruffle, you will have to upload a thumbnail alongside it. This will bring back the olden days of Newgrounds, and hopefully breed many gemerald flash projects before it becomes total trooncore.
Minecraft server - Alpha 1.2.6 survival based off the philosophies of old soycraft. Every 3 weeks there will be a referendum to upgrade it to the next version, though Beta 1.7.3 will be the version for an extended period of time, and if Release 1.7.10 is reached, the upgrades will be replaced with the addition of mods. I will host this myself (ETA whenever I get a job)
CSS changes - This site will have improvements to make it more usable and look less like a 1999 japanese gooncave. Other themes such as a frutiger aero theme and a bruhfunny theme will be added with their own watermarks. The default theme may end up having some frutiger stuff because skeumorohism is aryan. There will also be changes like an imageboard banner, the updoot being replaced with something else, stuff being moved around to look more like ifunny, "favorites" being rebranded as "republishes" and more.
Featured posts - The features will eventually be a daily 20-60 posts whenever the site starts having more than 60 posts a day
Subscriptions - You will be able to subscribe to your favorite accounts and see everything they post & favorite/repub
Forum improvements - The forums will be upgraded to be much more compatible for discussions, raids & adventure threads than the glorified suggestion box that danbooru's is. Subforums are about to be added.
BruhfunnyModerator - The comment bot from Bruhfunny will be sent over to comment on every post or be infused with brappingbot
There will be some other things added, but I think the following that is under consideration may be the most interkeksting
SWAblox
When I get good at programming in 2026, there is a medium chance of a xister site being made for swaggers to play an old version of the ‘blox. You would log in to your SWAbooru account and be able to upload certain old roblox games which would run in the 2014 client modded to be played in the browser, proven possible by a furtroon site known as “Economy Simulator” (albeit for 2016)
Not only does this prevent our site from looking like we’re hosting a virus, but you can also play it on your phone and on chromebooks, perbraps even console browsers somehow.
Of course, there are many risks associated with this (copyright, under-13 invasion, mass ip stealing, chance that I couldn’t do the broswer thing for pre-2015 clients, it’s unpopular, some other bullshit) which is why it is not certain, but we would essentially be flexing how prosperous and fun our site is compared to iFunny by that point. BTW if this happens, you niggas better be making games like “Build to survive FNF Pedo's BBC” and “Who Killed Blaze Bernstein Obby”.
The site would be basic as well. Since it is more of an extention of SWAbooru than it’s own project, it would only really be the games and an avatar editor. On launch everyone would have the classic noob avatar and later on you would have a few hundred hats and other options, with several unavailable to the masses and only to jannies. The 2012, 2013 & 2014 egg hunts would also be up & give out hats year-round instead of easter.

STEP FOUR - GAINING INFLUENCE
Long ago, iFunny was very influential online. countless memes were made on the app that would become staples, we almost influenced Minecraft and colonized Reddit. Those times are over, but they can come back through $WÅ
Soysphere
The sharty and booru could easily be partner communities to our site. In fact they already are! The board /swa/ existed for several months and all of the 20 regulars on SWA are soyjakkers. We are a known faction by many people and our influence is growing day by day.
Instagram
SWA could be a group on insta like it was on iFunny in 2014. We can take advantage of people's nostalgia for the MLG era of memes to expand our influence and start new trends. We could also troll tons of retarded fandumbs that have about 4 comebacks in total to our swagger.
Also a well known instagrammer, Madrick12662, has visited the site and shown interest in it. He is the leader of a group called 12662 that posts 2019 reddit memes ironically. He could be the tardward of SWAbooru and 12662 could be an allied clan.
Oh and also LordAndSlayer, chief of the Meme Team is also an Instagram account though xe mainly posts mainstream coal

A few months ago I made a channel for youtube called the “Deep iFunny Video Archive” as a place to post ifunny vids in a similar fashion to Soyjak Party Video Archive, which is the main source of new users for the sharty. This will be renamed to “SWA Video Archive” and will be revived soon enough. Also Teh PETRIXXX Show may bring new users.

After the epic fail of c/Bruhfunny, many believe breakfast is ruined for Bruhfunny outside of SWA bringing back bruhfunny culture partially. However, there is a chance I will bring it back and hopefully get Herobrine to use it despite him being IP banned from Reddit apparently.
Another option is to raid r/SMG4 so hard we take it over and turn it into a sub for Teh PETRIXXX Show and SWA. Or both options.
Watermark
The watermark being added will bring new users because every meme shared from SWAb in the future will have it unless willingly removed, containing our site domain
Endchan
Endchan is an imageboard where you can make any board, including /swag/, a SWA board made by mohammedtheongezelligfan. Though it is not much it is a good alternative to the fallen /swa/ board and could be an interesting colony.

There is a list of rules for SWAbooru for the sake of gems. Here they are, and here’s why I added them:
1. Posting or requesting illegal content is strictly forbidden.

2. Child & animal gore is banned unless heavily censored
Basically this stuff is very gross and on par with rule 1 but I know jokes about Dead Nigger Baby, Shovel Dog and Flame Floppa are popular with a few chuds, so this is a nice in-between

I think one of the main contributions to iFunny’s decline is the over-reliance of xitter & 4troon screenshots. Dozens of accounts such as Moskau and ZaoistIII spam nothing but these with zero originality in order to get shitty engagement even though I could just go on xitter or 4cuck and find the posts. This will not happen on SWAbooru. You WILL post dank memes. You WILL NOT be a shitty politics content farm
7. Content considered coal is allowed, but can not be spammed & may be censored/deleted for the sake of trolling & stability
