Basically it goes that mari argued with sunny right before a piano recital so hard that sunny pushed mari down the stairs and the 15 feet fall apparently killed a teenager. So sunny and basil who was there for some reason decided to ACK mari on a tree instead of telling the truth because he didn't want to be yelled at or some shit. I don't think the game explains which killed her. This causes the other people to freak out because they think it was a suicide despite the fact that doctors would find broken bones in the autopsy.
Why didn't he just say she fell down the stairs? It is possible for anyone to die from a 15 feet fall if they land wrong, but I agree that is a major plot hole. Also, if they did land wrong, there would probably be signs of it in the autopsy. The autopsy would find that there were unusual injuries.
And this guy is supposed to be the protagonist? He betrayed his family. Treachery is the worst sin, because the oath is the most basic unit of morality.
I think he was scared of being yelled at for killing somebody on accident even though most 12 year olds (yes he was 12) would go "ahh! mommy help mari fell down and she's unconscious!!" but the plot requires he kill mari so that niggas freak out. Here's how I would fix this plot: start over and make an actual cool one!
Its honestly retarded how they have a 12 year old come up with a convoluted plan to carry a body all the way into the woods (judging by the designs of the characters I highly doubt they could do that) and fake a suicide. Maybe if the characters were 15 or 16 i could believe it, but a 12 year old would not come up with that idea. You also see this in the COAL of andy and leley, where a 5 year old or some shit kills a bitch out of jealousy. For some odd reason troon media has a habit of writing children like fucked-up older teenagers or adults. I wonder why…
